Personal Thoughts

What has never really changed in American Politics since its foundation is the battle of where power rests'. In the beginning its was the Federalist vs. Anti-federalist. The Federalist said that the power rested in the hands of a strong National government. While the Anti-Federalist said that power was to be in the states hands so "The People" could have more control or sway. Well, today we find ourselves still fighting the same old fight. One might argue that if only the Federal Government was more active America would be better off. While I would have to disagree and say that if only the Federal Government would back off and allow for the private industry to grow and search out new answers to todays problems then America would flourish like never before. The reason I have decided to write this is simple. I want to point out that this fight for power has been going on and will probably keep on. Till, we can find a man or woman that will stand up like President Jackson or Reagan, and take this country by the horns and lead it down the path of "Truth" & "Justice" we will keep fumbling in the darkness till finally wake up when its either too late. Madam Justice can no longer have her veil lifted to tip the scales in either direction. She must be blind to all and allow the scales tip towards truth. Now is the time for someone to strike for what is real and true. The People are found willing and wanting for something that is real. For the one who moves forward on such ideas and principles will have many enemy's and many hurdles. Yet, the prize for such is unmeasurable in monetary terms, for someone to move in this fashion would them into history forever. I pray that someone have the fortitude and strength to move forward on that path & soon. For all our sakes, our children's, and our unseen futures sakes.
